What are clinical studies?

Clinical studies are carefully designed research trials involving humans, to measure how a formulation performs over time.

ReMind is backed by six published, peer-reviewed clinical studies, including three gold standard randomised, double-blind, placebo-controlled trials on the full formula at the Nutrition Research Centre Ireland, South East Technological University Waterford.

Trial 1 | Early Cognitive Change (2020)

A randomised, double-blind, placebo-controlled pilot study evaluated the full ReMind formulation over 12 months in people experiencing early cognitive change.

Key Findings

A randomised, double-blind, placebo-controlled trial evaluated the full ReMind formulation over 24 months in healthy adults aged 65 years and older.

  • 38% fewer errors on the most challenging working memory tasks, while the placebo group showed no meaningful improvement.
  • 26% fewer total working memory errors, compared with a 14% increase in errors in the placebo group.
  • Brain carotenoid levels increased by 65%, indicating improved brain nutrient status.
  • Blood levels of lutein, DHA and EPA increased significantly, confirming successful absorption of key nutrients.
